Parking for the Festival and Parade

Old School Square Parking Garage  - 180 NE 1st St, Delray Beach, FL 33444

Driving Directions

 From The Florida Turnpike:
   Take the exit for Delray Beach/Atlantic Ave. Eastbound. Go East on  Atlantic  Ave.  Once past the I-95 corridor, you'll be entering  'Downtown Delray Beach'.


From I-95: 
Take Exit  #52 Atlantic Ave.  Eastbound. Turn East onto Atlantic Ave. You'll  be entering 'Downtown Delray Beach'. 


Attention!   On Saturday March 16th.  Atlantic Ave. will be shut down from West 5th Ave. to A1A for the  parade, at approximately 8 AM. You will have to follow the detour signs  into the downtown area, and parking  garages. Plan on taking alternate  routes if arriving after 10 A.M.

Weather, Climate, What to Wear

Historically, in Delray Beach, the weather in the month of March has been mild with highs in the high 70's and lows in the mid 60's.  We  Have been very fortunate in recent years to have beautiful, sunny, blue skies.  So if you are from out of town, do not forget to bring a hat, sunglasses and lots of sunscreen.  This is shorts or Kilt and T-shirt weather.  

Is the Festival Family and Kid Friendly

Absolutely!  There will be food and entertainment on both days of the festival that is perfect for family of all ages. There will also be an area dedicated to keeping the little ones entertained with face painting, games and activities.
